Randeep Jha
Randeep is an Indian director, writer, and actor. He has worked on numerous successful projects including Kohrra, a neo-noir thriller set in Punjab which he directed, and Trial by Fire, a compelling thriller series based on the Uphaar Fire Tragedy starring Rajshri Deshpande and Abhay Deol, which he co-directed. Randeep made his feature debut with Eros Now's critically acclaimed film Halahal (2020), an investigative crime drama that was highly praised and recommended by prominent Indian filmmakers and producers.
After studying acting with Barry John's theatre troupe, Randeep moved to Mumbai in 2008 to pursue his ardour for directing. In 2018, he directed the short film Kartaa, which was presented by Anurag Kashyap. Additionally, he was an associate director on Anurag Kashyap's Ugly, and has been part of several projects like Mukkabaaz, Raman Raghav, and Shanghai as an assistant director.
