Hernan Jimenez

Hernan Jimenez is a Costa Rican actor, writer, director and comedian. He is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. He trained as a filmmaker at the San Francisco Art Institute and the Film Program at Columbia University's School of the Arts in New York. He began his career as a director in Costa Rica, where he wrote, directed and produced his first feature film El regreso (The Return), which premiered at the HBO New York International Latino Film Festival and won Best International Feature. The film was later released theatrically in Costa Rica and soon became one of the country's most successful box office hits of all time for a local production, as did his film Entonces Nosotros, which was Costa Rica's official submission to the 89th Academy Awards.
