Luke Speakman always charms the room. The Atlanta-based actor's parents thought acting would be a good way to channel the then 5-year-old's energy and big personality. Their instincts were good as Luke soon booked his first job - and won his first award - for "Amazing Stories," the Apple TV+ series executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Luke won the 2020 American Youth Film Festival Best Young Actor award for his portrayal of little Sam. Sharing his range of invoking laughter and then switching to big emotional scenes led to Luke quickly building a resume that spans TV, films, commercials and a podcast. Luke won his second acting award for his skill at playing Dylan in "Our Dream Wedding," a film directed by Rhonda Baraka that is streaming on Amazon. He was named the Star of the Year Winner at the 2021 American Youth Film Festival. Luke was a lead as young Jacob in the short film "The Torture Within" from award-winning director Sean Martinez and was series regular for two seasons as Artie Chamberlain on the hit horror thriller podcast "The Burned Photo" from Q Code Media and streaming on all major streaming networks. Luke is currently (Spring 2022) shooting his latest yet-to-be-announced project, which has him working with international stars on set in Michigan and Japan. Aside from acting, Luke channels his energy as a competitive ninja warrior, loves to swim, sing, code, and spend time with his family. He loves animals, especially dogs, and recently became dog dad to golden retriever Waffles.
