Peter Foldy

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Foldy spent his formative years in Sydney Australia where he landed work as a teen actor in TV commercials. After a family move to Canada, Foldy enrolled in film school and supported himself by playing guitar in a rock band. When an independent label heard a demo of his original material, he was signed to a recording contract and his first single, "Bondi Junction," climbed to the top of the Canadian pop charts. Foldy was subsequently signed by Capitol/EMI and later, RCA Records in Los Angeles. After a successful 10 year run in the music business, Foldy began writing screenplays, and before long began directing films, working with actors such as Paul Rudd, Beverly D'Angelo, Eugene Levy, and Academy Award winner, Louise Fletcher. He has recently completed several features, among them the thriller, "Help Wanted" and a romantic comedy, "Looking For Dr. Love." Though primarily focused on film, he continues to write and record music, available on Spotify and many other streaming websites.
