Brylee Russell

Brylee Russell is a director, writer, producer, and actress from Oklahoma. Brylee most recently directed her very first feature film, "Interior Lives"; a gripping coming of age film grounded in realism and elevated by effervescent teenage energy about high school life and the seemingly life-ending struggles that come along with transitioning to a new phase in life. Before "Interior Lives", Brylee directed, produced, and wrote several short films including the drama "Over the Line", the comedy "Turtles", and the pandemic inspired drama "Sulfur Clouds". Her films and scripts have garnered attention and won several awards (Notable Newcomer, Best Oklahoma Female Filmmaker, and Best Student Feature Screenplay) at many film festivals. Brylee is excited to introduce "Interior Lives" to the world and continue to write, produce, and direct more powerful films.
