Joanne Harris
Joanne Harris majored in Communications, working for several corporations before starting her own publicity firm, Harris PR & Marketing LLC.
She began writing feature films, and booked her first film acting role in 2006. Soon after, she enrolled at several acting studios, with followup studies in screenwriting and filmmaking at local universities. She completed the prestigious Act One screenwriting program in Los Angeles in 2007.
She went on to write and produce a historical documentary short film in Germany in 2010. The award-winning film, "A Mass of Wine," sold in four continents.
She returned to LA to study film production at UCLA, and studied film production and acting at the Burt Reynolds Institute of Film and Television.
She wrote award-winning scripts for video production clients, and later wrote and produced corporate videos for her own clients. She has produced, directed, post supervised and scripted numerous corporate videos and commercials.
Joanne served as Post Production Supervisor for the feature film, "The Legend of Kate Kensington," before moving to LA, where she was hired to scribe, "Unintended," an action thriller, in 2019.
She continues to work as a writer, actress, and locations manager for film and commercials. Most recently, Joanne worked as a key assistant locations manager on the feature, "Gypsy Moon."
Her acting credits include "DeFeated," "The Legend of Kate Kensington," "Ballers," "All That You Can't Leave Behind," and "Slaphappia."
She speaks German and some Spanish.
