Mian Tiara

Mian Tiara is an Indonesian actress and singer songwriter. She is one of the casts and the one who does the vocalization of the film scoring in Impetigore/Perempuan Tanah Jahanam. Before she started her acting career, she is known for her works as a singer songwriter, writing songs for a few short and feature films, including Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2 (2016), Catatan (Harian) Si Boy/Boy's Diary (2011), Madame X (2010), and Rumah Ketujuh (2003). Mian Tiara won a music award in 2003 for Best Jazz Song and in 2019 for Best Jazz Album with her jazz group called SIMAKDIALOG. Mian Tiara made her film debut in a feature film Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2, directed by Riri Riza in 2016. She acted in a few short films before she was auditioned for Impetigore/Perempuan Tanah Jahanam in 2019. Her first stage performance debut was a production of Teater Garasi/Garasi Performance Institute production of Yudi Tajudin's GONG Ex Machina in 2018. She also acted in a Teater Tetas production of AGS Arya Dipayana's Adipati Karna in 2019. She is of North Sumatran, North Sulawesi, and Dutch descent. She speaks Indonesian and English and has also studied French language. She also worked with Indonesian female directors, Kamila Andini in her film YUNI (post production) and Gina S. Noer who is now filming her next film, Cinta Pertama, Kedua & Ketiga.
