Amartya Ray is an actor, director and singer-songwriter known for his work in films like Maidaan, 22 Yards and Uronchondi. He has played the legendary footballer Chuni Goswami in Boney Kapoor's Maidaan. His directorial work include short films and documentaries like Dhulo, Portraits:2020, Our Mountain Valley home that have travelled to international and prestigious festivals like DIFF, IDSFFK, Gold Fur Lotus from PSBT etc. Amartya has composed and written two songs for the film 22 Yards, which have been sung by Amit Mishra and Sidhhart Mahadevan. He also has his independent music.
