Melanie Avalon
Growing up in the South, Melanie flourished in church, school, and community theatre. At the age of 17, she was accepted into the early entrance program at the University of Southern California. She moved to Los Angeles, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from USC with a double BA in Film and Theatre. While at USC, Melanie was an active member of the Delta Kappa Alpha Film Fraternity, and interned for Jerry Bruckheimer, Julia Pistor (former VP of Nickelodeon Films), and Whitaker Entertainment at Walt Disney Studios. Upon graduation, Melanie immediately booked a killer role (literally) on the Biography Channel's Deadly Wives, and has appeared in numerous other film and television projects since then, including Glee, The Millionaire Matchmaker, Neighbors, and Sharknado 2.
In 2014, Melanie self-published the Amazon #1 best seller, "The What When Wine Diet: Paleo And Intermittent Fasting For Health And Weight Loss." She is now represented by Celeste Fine at Sterling Lord Literistic for her follow-up book, dedicated to intermittent fasting.
Melanie works as local hire in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Memphis.
