Mim Shaikh

Mim Shaikh is an Actor, Broadcaster and Spoken-Word Poet and was born in London, UK. He has starred in over 12 film and television productions including his debut lead role in the (2016) dark-comedy feature film 'Freehold', which was shortlisted at the SXSW Film Festival. Prior to this, he starred in 'Daytimer' (2014) which was directed by Rizwan Ahmed. He then went to star in the (2016) short film 'Sunni Shia' which was awarded a BAFTA Children's Award. He has starred in multiple BBC Television Productions such as 'Informer' (2018), 'Casualty' (2019) 'King Gary' (2020) and 'Doctors' (2020). As well as his growing acting career, Shaikh is a Broadcaster and debuted with his (2018) documentary 'Mim Shaikh: Finding Dad' on the BBC which saw him travel to Pakistan to trace his biological Father. He has also appeared on 'Celebrity Masterchef' (2019) and 'Pilgrimage: The Road to Istanbul' (2020).
