Sarkar debuted as an actor in the Hindi TV series Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai (2015). She rose to fame with her appearances in Jassi King - The FAKR (2020) and the TV series Golden Hole (2020); both shows aired on Kooku.

Sarkar debuted as director of the TV series Devil Girl (2020), starring Shakespeare S. Tripathy. This is a variant of the popular Japanese comedy, Kairaku no sekai: Miradashimasho! (2011).
