Derek Hockenbrough
Derek Hockenbrough was born July 12, 1987 in Dallas, TX. He is an award-winning Writer/Director/Producer. He graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA with a BA in Acting for Theatre and Directing for Television and Film where he won Director of the Year in 2009.
After spending years in the camera department primarily as a Camera Operator, he moved into writing and directing feature films. In 2011, he produced the short film "Timeless" which was won the short film category at the Milan International Film Fest and Juror's Award at the Louisville Film Fest. In 2013, he wrote and directed "The Impaler" for which he was awarded Best Director at the Sunscreen Film Festival.
He resides in Los Angeles, continuing to make films and write for graphic novels.
