Happy Blackburn
Born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, he has lived all over the United States and the world. He grew up as an Air Force brat and moved south at the age of 3 to Orange Park, Florida. From there it was on to Pennsylvania, Mississippi and then to Ramstein Air Base in Germany. He played Little League baseball where he excelled as an All-Star player and when he returned to the United States he ended up in Bellevue, Nebraska and played in the Little League World Series. From there he moved back to Orange Park, Florida and after graduating High school moved to New Orleans where he played trumpet in a jazz band and sang in a Gospel trio. From there it was on to Houston, Texas and then to Atlanta,Georgia. He moved briefly to Spokane, Washington and then back to Atlanta. He sang for several years in a Gospel Quartet with his then wife, sister and brother in law. After his divorce, he continued to play music and write it as well. He worked as a Computer Technician after obtaining his degree in Computer Science and after 13 years changed to Nursing where he excels in being an Emergency Trauma Nurse in the ED. He has acted in and wrote Christian plays for several churches where he attended and was also the Music Director in Douglasville, Georgia at the Assembly of God church. He has been involved in music and acting from the age of 12. He also acts as an on set Medic in his spare time as well as being a College and High School baseball Umpire which he portrayed in the Christian inspirational movie titled Full Count. 09/27/2019
