Adam Barnett
Adam Barnett was born in San Antonio, Texas.
From an early age, he has loved and respected film acting. As a young teen he continued to show an interest in acting and entertaining. He particularly enjoyed drawing a crowd by putting on BMX bike and hacky sack skills demonstrations in his neighborhood.
Barnett attended Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Helotes, Texas. There he took theater arts and film critique classes. Adam was also a member of the Future Farmers of America, more commonly known as the FFA. In his senior year(2005), he earned the rank of Eagle Scout while a member of Troop 401 in Helotes, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America.
After graduation, Barnett remained in San Antonio and enrolled at Northwest Vista College (NWVC). While attending NWVC, he worked at Sea World San Antonio as a cast member of the acrobatic show "Viva!". In the meantime, he decided to pick up juggling as a hobby and practiced intensively between shows. His skills improved so dramatically that in June of 2009, was cast as "Teddy", a fire juggling thug in the Disney/Touchstone feature film "The Last Song". Casting directors were looking specifically for someone who could act, juggle, handle a hacky sack, and do all of them exceptionally well. Barnett auditioned, completed a screen test, and was cast in the role shortly afterward.
In 2007, Barnett earned an Associate's Degree in Science from NWVC. As of April 2010, Barnett was still attending the University of Texas at San Antonio and plans to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Health.
