Sidney Floyd

Sidney Floyd was born in Dallas, TX to (NFL Player) Harvey Armstrong and (Director/Producer) Jennifer Floyd. When she was 2, her mother married her step-father, (Actor) Gabriel Horn, who heavily influenced their family's involvement in performing arts. Sidney was singing before she could talk, and she was always a natural on stage and in front of the camera, because it was an integral part of her life from a very young age. Sidney booked her first acting job at age 4, when she appeared in a series of healthcare commercials and was later featured on TV series "Friday Night Lights", as Smash's little sister. That same year, Sidney was flown out to Los Angeles, where she screen-tested for the lead role in "Imagine That", opposite of Eddie Murphy. She immediately signed with an LA based agency and made the move to Hollywood, all before she turned 5. Sidney has appeared in commercials, print ads, TV shows and feature films. She attended a performing arts middle school and currently attends a performing arts high school in Los Angeles, where she has acquired musical theater credits, including Maureen in "Rent", Lady of the Lake in "Spamalot", The Genie in Disney's "Aladdin", and Alice in "Addams Family Values". Sidney is also the lead vocalist and actor in "Another Day of Fun," LAUSD's parody of "La La Land" that showcases L.A. Unified School District's magnet program. Sidney can be seen on Nickelodeon's "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn", The Family Channel's "Ghostbreakers", and Hulu's Original Series, "Pen15", which premieres this Winter 2019.
