Shiona Lee

Shiona Lee, also known as "Sharon" (her middle name), navigates between two ends in a truly globalized world, travelling between Los Angeles and Seoul throughout the year, as well as other parts of the world. Earning her bachelor degree in Theatre at the liberal arts college University of Richmond, she also studied in Goldsmiths College in London, acting with Larry Silverberg (Meisner) and London-based school IDSA, and screenwriting in television at UCLA. She's written & directed two impactful plays that delved into themes of identity and belonging, drawing from her experiences as a global nomad and a third culture kid. One was a one woman show, and the other consisted of cast members including "America" played by a white female and a black male, and "Korea" played by a black female. Her creative journey was sparked by her father's miraculous recovery from a brain tumor, which brought her family together and inspired her to identify and break free from her generational curse. Shiona has woven her artistic pursuits with holistic healing endeavors in enneagram coaching and elderly counseling, as well as promoting intuitive eating and teaching aerial yoga. Her multidimensional approach to life is reflected in her poetry book Searching Home (in the process of publishing), where she shares her soul-searching adventures around the world 3 times. Beyond her literary achievements, Shiona has developed her acting career in films, commercials, and voice-over projects, including national commercials for AAA, Apple Game, Wee Delivery, among others, as well as starring in Warner Brothers' feature film Vacation Friends 2. She was awarded the PIFF BEST ACTRESS AWARD for the Pasadena Film Festival 2024 for her role as Sarah in the short Hello, Goodbye. When she's not immersed in her creative pursuits, she enjoys baking plant-based cookies, diving into literature, and connecting with nature. Despite her nomadic lifestyle, Shiona believes that genuine connections and self-discovery are essential for finding true belonging, rooted in love and the wisdom that comes with enduring difficult times and exercising patience. Shiona is a true believer that the absolute truth and universal language is love.
